Scott Melson
Dr. Melson was born and raised in Edmond, OK where he graduated from Edmond Memorial High School. After high school, he completed his undergraduate studies at Trinity University in San Antonio, TX and the University of Oklahoma in Norman, OK. After graduating college, Dr. Melson married his wife, Ashley, and moved to Oklahoma City to begin medical school at University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. Following graduation, Dr. Melson began his residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. He loves caring for patients of all ages but has always been particularly passionate about caring for children.
Dr. Melson is thrilled to have the opportunity to join an amazing group of providers at Just Kids, all of whom he’s proud to call my friends. Dr. Melson and his wife live in Midtown Oklahoma City, where they love eating at local restaurants, spending lots of time with their dog, Baron, OU football, and of course Thunder basketball.
